**The Opportunity**:
We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Public Relations & Media Advisor to join in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane on a permanent basis.
Our PR team forms part of our Global Business Development, Marketing & Communications (BDM&C;) team. Our BDM&C; team is responsible for executing the firm's clients and markets strategy, while supporting the partnership across the full spectrum of business development, marketing & communications activities.
Our Public Relations team is responsible for the development and implementation of our media and public relations strategy to build and maintain the firm's profile and brand reputation.
Joining as the Public Relations & Media Advisor some of your main responsibilities will be;
- Develop and build relationships with key trade, national, business and legal press
- Handle incoming media enquiries
- Media monitoring and reporting
- Proactively pursue all opportunities to maximise coverage by positioning partners as commentators on relevant issues
- Draft and issue press announcements and organise media briefings

**About you**:
- Bachelor degree or higher in communications
- 3-5 years' experience in a public relations/media role (corporate/in house experience preferred, but will look at applicants with an agency background).
- Knowledge of the financial and business media and ideally the legal press
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- High level of confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy
