About the role
Join our Perioperative Services team as an Operating Room Assistant and play a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care within the operating theatre environment. In this hands‐on role, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth, timely and effective preparation and operation of theatre services.
Responsibilities
* Transportation of patients
* Preparing operating theatres as per theatre schedules
* Preparation and position of patient
* Cleaning of operating suite as per guidelines
* Maintain compliance with appropriate theatre apparel as required and as per ACORN Standards
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary perioperative services team
