The Opportunity
You’ll work directly with our owners and executive leadership team of a rapidly expanding business coaching company and take full ownership of the performance marketing engine.
This is not a “manage the ads” role.
This is a true CMO position — responsible for:
* Cost efficiency
* Revenue contribution
* Team management & performance
* Strategic growth of the department and the business
* Systems, process, and execution quality
You will conceptualize, build, and lead a world-class performance marketing department designed to scale.
Your Mission as CMO
Your mandate is clear:
🎯 Drive Revenue Through Marketing
* Deliver the lead volume required to support 60–75+ new clients per quarter
* Hit agreed CPL, CAC, and ROAS targets
* Maintain a reliable, predictable inbound flow that keeps SDR calendars full
🧠 Build & Lead a World-Class Marketing Department
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team (5–10+ people)
* Set targets, budgets, priorities, and execution rhythm
* Establish SOPs and systems that create consistency, speed, and resilience
* Act as the final quality-control gate for all outbound marketing assets
* You’ll oversee and prioritise initiatives managed by funnel Marketing Managers including (but not limited to):
o Webinars & summits
o Live events & in-person roadshows (USA, AU, NZ)
o Guest-pass promotions to member events
o Sell-by-chat campaigns
o Retargeting stacks
o Events and Roadshows
📊 Lead With Data
* Own daily and weekly metrics dashboards with 100% accuracy
* Report results weekly in Head of Department meetings
* Work closely with Sales on lead quality, show rates, and pipeline feedback
* Continuously test, iterate, and optimise based on real data — not opinions
How You’ll Operate
* Deep collaboration with Sales, Leadership, Operations and Member Success
* Intimate understanding of our ideal client avatar through surveys, interviews, testimonials, and data
* Obsession with best practice — studying who is winning and implementing fast
* Strong cultural leadership aligned with company values and vision
* Clear communication, accountability, and execution discipline
Who You Are
You’re a senior marketing leader, not a tactician with a fancy title.
You Bring:
* 5+ years in a marketing leadership role (high-ticket coaching/info-marketing preferred)
* Proven experience leading high-performing teams of 5–10+
* Experience helping scale a company beyond $20M in revenue
* Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capability
* Deep understanding of:
o Direct response marketing
o Copywriting and persuasion
o Performance tracking & optimisation
o MarTech focus and experience is an extra win
You Are:
* Extremely organised (inbox zero doesn’t scare you)
* Obsessed with improvement and learning
* Data-driven to your core
* Comfortable holding high standards and having hard conversations
* A self-starter who thrives in remote, outcome-driven environments
* Excellent with people — supportive, direct, and accountable
