Maternity Nursing Position
We are seeking dedicated registered nurses to join our maternity team as Neonatal and Postnatal Support Nurses.
* This nursing role is supernumerary to the midwifery roster and has been piloted to innovate and strengthen our maternity model of care.
About the Role
The program provides essential support alongside midwives to care for neonates requiring additional clinical care on the maternity ward.
This role complements and supports established midwifery care, with opportunities for career development in neonatal nursing or midwifery.
Nursing Responsibilities:
1. Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
2. Collaborating with midwives to deliver exceptional maternity services.
3. Developing skills in neonatal nursing and contributing to the growth of our maternity team.
Your Qualifications and Skills
* A minimum of one year's experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Experience in a maternity, maternal and child health, women's health, neonatal, paediatrics or postoperative environment.
* An interest in pursuing postgraduate education in midwifery, neonatal nursing, women's health or a related field.
