The company aims to procure a new payroll system, making the successful candidate an integral part of the tender process and subsequent implementation. This will provide invaluable experience for a Senior Payroll Officer looking to advance in their career. The role offers a salary up to $120,000 + superannuation.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Process end-to-end payroll for approximately 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
* Conduct quality control audits to ensure accuracy.
* Manage the setup of new employee information and accounts and oversee the maintenance of employee data systems, including payroll records and files.
* Provide guidance on updates to awards and policies, as well as legislation.
* Attend education sessions on payroll legislation updates.
* Interpret new legislation impacting payroll.
* Oversee system implementation across Australia and New Zealand.
The Ideal Candidate
We seek experienced payroll professionals with strong end-to-end experience and a passion for compliance and continuous improvement. Key competencies include:
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Exposure to New Zealand payroll is beneficial but not required.
