Job Title: Experienced Network Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced network support specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving network issues.
This role includes assisting in the management and maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure, configuring the Agency's ICT network, writing and updating technical documentation, and supporting change management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Focus on resolving issues within cloud and LAN environments to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
* Support the network infrastructure established by senior engineers, contributing to network stability and performance.
* Write and update technical documentation, SOPs, and task cards for clear records.
* Communicate effectively with end-users, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
* Travel frequently to engage with various stakeholders and environments.
Requirements:
* Strong communication skills for effective end-user interaction.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of IT experience, preferably in senior service desk or system admin roles.
* The ability to balance technical support with customer engagement.
* Able to work independently with sound judgment, discretion, and initiative.
* Familiarity with government ICT environments, policies, and standards.
Benefits:
This is an 18-month assignment, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The pay rate is $55.24 per hour plus super.
