Contract Behaviour Support Practitioner – Remote Role (Work from Home)
We’re on the lookout for passionate NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioners to join us on a contract basis and help deliver high quality Positive Behaviour Support across Australia. This is a remote position with work from home opportunities.

Overview
About the Role
- Flexible work: manage your own time and work from home.
- You’ll be responsible for finding your own caseload.
- Behaviour Support Practitioners work closely with participants, families, and care teams to address behaviours of concern.
- Within the NDIS, our role is to support participants to meet reporting obligations around restrictive practices, with the goal of reducing and eliminating their use while building positive behaviour strategies.
- We can assist with all things admin to help you thrive!
What You’ll Need
- At least 1 year of experience as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner with a practitioner ID, or have been signed off as suitable.
- Approved at Core, Proficient, or above status.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in an allied health field such as Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Developmental Education, or Social Work.
- Experience supporting individuals, families, and/or children with a disability.
- Ability to use data collection tools, analyse information, and prepare high quality Behaviour Support Plans.
- Regular peer support and guidance.
If Successful, You’ll Provide
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate.
- ABN / ACN (we can guide you with this if needed).
- Evidence of Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
- Access to your own Behaviour Support Practitioner supervisor (or you can access supervision through us if required).
- Your own phone, computer, and resources to complete the role.
- Ability to keep calendar, progress notes, and client files up to date.
- Issue invoices promptly for completed work.
Key
This is acontract role. Practitioners are responsible for managing their own tax, superannuation, and HECS (if applicable).
