The Role
A client of mine are seeking a Project Manager to join their Sydney office. This is a key client-side role that will see you managing the full lifecycle of a range of exciting projects, from site acquisition to delivery. You will be actively involved in everything from early-stage deals, rezoning, DA, and financing, through to construction and handover. This person will also get exposure to involvement in deals, negotiating with banks, lenders, acquisition of land, development and Investment
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage construction projects across fit outs, refurbishments, and new developments
* Drive project success from acquisition through to delivery
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and financial institutions
* Work closely with our experienced leadership team, contributing to strategic project decisions
* Provide national oversight on select projects with occasional travel (approx. 5 trips per year)
What We're Looking For
* 6+ experience in Project Management, ideally in a client-side capacity
* Proven track record managing end-to-end construction projects
* Strong background in high-rise residential or industrial projects is highly regarded
* Experience across rezoning and development approvals (DA) highly desirable but not necessary
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or property
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and influence outcomes
