Post Graduate Fellow – Haematology
This is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for a postgraduate fellow to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. As a postgraduate fellow, you will be involved in providing high-quality clinical care, diagnostic services, and consultative specialty services in haematology.
* The primary purpose of this role is to provide additional training to develop subspecialty interests in haematology (CAR-T) and further develop core clinical skills required in this area.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has completed advanced training to become a specialist medical practitioner in haematology.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality clinical care, diagnostic services, and consultative specialty services in haematology.
2. Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the haematology department and Concord Repatriation General Hospital as required.
3. Oversee multidisciplinary management of patients in clinical trials and receiving novel T cell engaging therapies.
4. Enrich patient care through improved patient education and enhanced screening for patients to access novel therapies on clinical trials.
Requirements:
* Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or eligibility for registration.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in haematology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
