Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and skilled General Handyman to support our operations. This role involves maintenance, minor repairs, basic building tasks, and general support across our modular fabrication facility and installation sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with site preparation, module installation, basic building work, and finishing tasks such as carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, or electrical work
* Perform general maintenance and repairs within our workshop and on-site modules (interior and exterior)
* Support module assembly and disassembly as required, including minor site modifications according to project specifications
* Work closely with the project team to prioritise tasks and ensure smooth workflow
* Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain tools and equipment in good condition
* Help with loading and unloading materials, transporting modules or components around the site, and supporting visiting tradespeople as needed
Job Requirements / Qualifications
* Proven experience as a handyman, trades assistant, or maintenance worker, with residential, commercial, or modular construction experience considered a plus
* Competent in a variety of trades, including carpentry, painting, basic plumbing, minor electrical work, and general building tasks
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings or simple architectural plans is preferred
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items, work at heights, and undertake hands-on tasks
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
