What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring orders are received, dispatched and delivered safely and on time. Tasks are varied and will include:
* Performing general administrative tasks including, stock control, dispatch, and delivery of goods
* Unloading stock from trucks
* Operation of forklift
* Check and receive stock in and out of store
* Delivering goods/orders to customers
* Maintain the presentation of the branch and keep shelves full of products for display and sale
* Be proactive in keeping site clean and safe
* After a qualifying/training period - processing counter sales through POS
* Maintaining safety processes
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role it will be helpful, (but not essential), that you have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
* A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
* Forklift licence and HR licence are essential
* Excellent attention to detail
* Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
* Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve issues promptly
