About Us
The Cooly Hotel is one of Gold Coast's iconic hotspots, located right on the stunning beachfront of Coolangatta Beach. The Hotel features a restaurant and beer garden, TAB, Keno and Gaming Lounge, an upstairs Bandroom for live gigs, function spaces and pool tables, making it a popular destination for locals and a must-visit for tourists.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize all public areas, including floors, tables, chairs, and bar surfaces
* Deep clean restrooms regularly throughout each shift
* Take out rubbish, recycling, and glass bins as needed
* Sweep and mop floors, especially during and after service hours
* Wipe down doors, walls, and high-touch surfaces
* Restock cleaning supplies and alert management when more is needed
* Follow all safety and hygiene procedures
What We're Looking For
* Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
* Ability to work independently and manage time well
* Physically fit and able to lift/move cleaning equipment and supplies
* A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team
* Ability to work hospitality hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays
