The Opportunity:
Our Sydney team is seeking a senior associate with 5-8 years' experience (1-3 as a senior associate) gained within private practice or in-house and a keen interest in, energy, infrastructure, transport and construction projects to join their team. We are committed to offering the following:

2. An ongoing opportunity to an active role in day to day delivery of deliverables for matters, with suitable direct client contact, and will proactively progress complex matters with appropriate senior lawyer and/or partner support;
3. Access to the most innovative training opportunities from market leading infrastructure and project lawyers, allowing you to develop your technical and soft skills;
4. The opportunity to be part of a truly integrated team with regular social events including team lunches and other social outings. Previously, this has included away days to Tasmania and Byron Bay; and
5. A hybrid work policy and flexible work which is reflected in our team nationally with several lawyers nationally working remotely on a permanent basis.
Desired Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
6. A senior associate with 5-8 years' post admission experience (1-3 years as a senior associate), ideally gained within private practice or in-house;
7. An interest in, energy, infrastructure, transport and construction projects;
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
9. Superior drafting ability;
10. A commercial approach and an ability to articulate and negotiate effectively;
11. Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills;
12. The ability to be team-focused, provide leadership and mentoring to the juniors in the team, whilst also work independently; and
13. A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service and, a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships.
