The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance is a consortium of companies partnering with the South Australian Government to deliver the final 10.5 km section of the North-South Corridor.
This project involves constructing two separate tunnels, the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels, connected by an open motorway. The combined total distance of these tunnels is 10.5 km, expected to open to traffic in 2031.
The T2D Project includes tunnels, surface works such as road and bridge construction, services buildings, and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
Role Overview
* As a Junior Cost Controller, you will manage the finance and accounting methods, practices, and procedures of projects and/or the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Cost Controllers in analyzing and interpreting statistical and accounting data for management decision-making.
* Compile monthly project reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Review and analyze operating results, costs, budgets, and policies, including capital asset and maintenance budgets.
* Support the development and implementation of financial policies and plans.
* Monitor outstanding debtors and assist Project Managers in resolving issues.
* Audit project wage employee remuneration, including timesheets.
* Compile and review forecast information to assess the final financial position of projects.
About You
* CPA or equivalent tertiary accounting qualification.
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce/Statistics, or a relevant discipline.
* 1-3 years' experience, preferably in construction, mining, or defense.
* Familiarity with databases and basic computer literacy skills.
