At Catholic Healthcare, our mission is to enhance the lives of older people through compassionate, high‑quality care. We are currently seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our leadership team at Bodington, our beautiful residential aged care home in Wentworth Falls.
About The Role
Reporting to the Residential Manager, the Care Manager works as the second‑in‑charge, providing strong clinical leadership and governance to ensure residents receive safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Catholic Healthcare policies.
This is a permanent full‑time role, Monday to Friday, offering leadership stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents, families and staff.
Key Responsibilities Include
Leading and overseeing clinical governance to ensure quality care outcomesSupporting and supervising Registered Nurses and care teamsEnsuring timely completion and review of resident assessments and care plansMonitoring incidents, providing clinical oversight, and ensuring appropriate follow‑up and documentationDriving compliance with quality standards, safety, and infection prevention and controlCoaching and developing clinical and care staff to achieve best practice outcomesActing as a key clinical contact for residents, families and external stakeholders
About You
You are a confident clinical leader who is passionate about aged care and committed to continuous improvement and resident wellbeing.
You Will Bring
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NursePrevious experience in residential aged care in a senior clinical role (e.g. Care Manager, Clinical Nurse, AN‑ACC/ACFI Coordinator)Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and complianceProven leadership and coaching skills with the ability to positively influence teamsHigh emotional intelligence and effective conflict‑resolution skillsStrong documentation, systems and computer skills (including Microsoft applications)A values‑driven approach aligned with Catholic Healthcare’s mission, compassion and integrity
