Our client is a WA-based engineering and fabrication contractor specialising in steel and material fabrication and broader engineering services. They're currently supporting commissioning works at a Waste-to-Energy facility in East Rockingham with strong potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
Details:
Location: East Rockingham, WA
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm Friday 6am - 2pm
Commencement: Immediate Start
Project Duration: 6-8 months
The Role:
* Fabricate, modify, and install custom sheet metal components to support commissioning changes and plant optimisation.
* Apply appropriate sealing systems (gaskets, sealants, flanges) to meet operational and environmental requirements.
* Perform on-site alterations to:
* Chutes, hoppers, skirts, guards, and liners
* Ducting and transition pieces
* Access covers, splash guards, and spill containment
* Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
* Trade-qualified Sheet Metal Worker
* Confined Space & Working at Heights
* Hot Works Permit
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Experience in industrial or heavy process environments
* Full Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
