ABOUT THE ROLE
TruckSmart is looking for an Experienced Diesel Mechanic / Mechanical Engineering Technician to carry out repair, services and fault diagnosis on Heavy Vehicles and machinery.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
* NSW Motor Trade Licence (Highly desirable - not essential)
* HR / HC Licence (Highly desirable - not essential)
* Perform high-quality auto mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment and machines
* Ability to diagnose faults and repair systems and components
* Ability to follow manufacturers warranty processes
* Carry out quality control of own work
* Communicate with workshop control
* Provide customer satisfaction based on timely delivery
* Experience in the maintenance and repair of motor or heavy vehicles including engine re-builds, diagnostics and servicing.
* Ability to work within a team or autonomously when required.
* Exceptional eye for detail.
* Ability to supervise apprentices when required.
* An interest in online training courses (paid training)
* Work safely by following defined processes, standards, and guidelines
* Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment
