The Role:

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold food items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook hot and cold food items responsibly.
* Follow menu specifications and recipes diligently, checking for quality and presentation.
* Adhere to strict compliance and quality control protocols, completing required documentation.
* Produce and portion items according to specific control specifications while minimizing food wastage.
* Maintain clean and tidy work areas, including food preparation surfaces and utensils.
* Uphold a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness, in line with the organization's requirements.
Selection Criteria:
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
* Excellent knife Skills
* Previous experience in a large commercial kitchen is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of HACCP and other food safety measures.
* Ability to understand and adhere to specifications and recipes is essential.
* Capability to work under pressure in a high-volume production team environment.
* Availability for seven-day rotating rosters is essential.
