Pathtech's Servicing Laboratory is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, product training, and ongoing support through its expert highly trained staff. Pathtech's Servicing lab is NATA acredited ISO90001: Our calibration technicians work across our single and multi-channel balances to provide efficient and accurate calibration of pipettes, a crucial role to the accuracy of the Scientific industry. Our technicians have experience calibrating a multitude of different makes, models, and brands of pipettes.

Role Description
This is an on-site, casual role for a Pipette Service & Calibration Technician located in Preston, VIC. The role involves performing routine maintenance, service, and calibration of pipettes to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. The technician will handle test equipment and instrumentation, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and maintain records of work performed. The position requires collaboration with the Pathtech Service Laboratory team to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
Relevant experience or qualifications in laboratory services or technical fields is advantageous
Proficiency in calibration and test equipment handling
Experience with laboratory skills related to pipette servicing and maintenance
Knowledge of instrumentation and ability to troubleshoot equipment
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate service records
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Forward all paperwork required to Lab Coordinator when service work is completed to ensure customers are promptly invoiced
Willingness to learn
A positive and motivated outlook, team player
Organised, manage time efficiently with the ability to prioritise, and take responsibility for work and focus on key strategies
Effective verbal communications and excellent written skills
Clean and neat presentation
General administration tasks
Strong problem-solving skills - result focused

Qualifications/Experience:
Ideally experience in calibrating and servicing complex scientific equipment - specifically pipettes.
Experience in pipetting
Experience in Excel, Word, Email, stock control systems, and CRM.
