About the role
Overseeing 5 - 6 jobs at a time and a team of 5 Site Supervisors, the Construction Manager is accountable for the delivery of the project- from contract award through to practical completion and handover
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Overall project delivery - programme, budget and quality
* Client and stakeholder relationships
* Contract administration and subcontractor procurement
* Risk identification and management
* Supporting and directing the Site Manager
* Reporting to senior management and the client
* Own the master project programme and ensure it is baselines, communicated and maintained
* Review and approve the Site Managers short-term look ahead schedules
* Identify critical path activities and proactively manage float and riskChair weekly programme review meetings with the project team
* Drive early identification of programme risks and implement recovery strategies
Skills & experience
* Proven experience as a Construction Manager
* Background in high end residential builds
* Strong understanding of Queensland building codes and regulations
* QBCC Licence or eligible to obtain
* Experience with Wonderbuild and Jobpac highly regarded
