Sunshine Medical Centre & Family Practice have been proudly caring for the Busselton community with quality General Practice services since 2007.

We are looking for a part time medical receptionist who loves people, takes pride in being organised, is professional and genuinely enjoys creating a supportive experience for patients .This is an important patient- facing role. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional service with a friendly smile while keeping the front desk running smoothly for 3 to 4 days per week .

This position is available for immediate start.

About the role

* Greeting patients and providing a welcoming experience
* Answering phones, booking and managing appointments
* Patient check-in/ check-out
* Issuing invoices, taking payments, and processing Medicare rebates
* Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
* Communicating professionally with the the doctors, nurses, and other staff
* Maintaining the cleanliness of the reception area and practice rooms
* Complying with workplace health and safety procedures
* General administration duties such as, scanning, electronic filing, distribution of mail, records management etc
* General admin support for an efficiently run practice
* We are looking for someone flexible who will blend with our culture

Skills and experience (About you )

* Medical reception /medical admin experience preferred but not essential. General admin experience desirable .
* Minimum of 1+ years general administration experience is required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Confident, calm and professional under pressure
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Reliable, punctual and well presented
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience using Best Practice or other medical software (desirable but not essential) Excellent computer skills, and high levels of competency with Microsoft Office
* Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is desirable
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks
* Australian work rights are required for this position
