Reporting to the Assistant Store Manager and working collaboratively with the leadership team, this pivotal role offers excellent opportunities to advance your Retail Management career path.
About The Role:
* Manage the daily activities of your departments and team, driving customer satisfaction and financial performance
* Optimise team productivity by leveraging workforce management and further developing team member skills
* Drive a high performance, customer focused culture through role modelling, communication, feedback and recognition
* Maximise the team’s customer service focus by effective management and delegation of tasks to minimise operational activities
* Lead, empower and inspire your team with a consistent focus on developing the next generation of Myer leaders
* Maximise your time spent within your departments to lead and manage your teams and gain customer insights
About You:
* Previous experience as a Retail Manager, Area Manager or similar, ideally within Fashion/Retail environment
* People leadership skills with a 'hands-on' approach are essential
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, achieve targets and monitor KPI's
* Experience in performance management and getting the best from your teams will be highly regarded
* Customer focussed with superior customer service skills
* Strong retail, financial and business acumen
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and achieve within timelines

Our management teams work across fortnightly rotating rosters to meet key store trading hours, including weekends and extended/peak trade (e.g. Black Friday and Christmas-New Years).
