Role Purpose:
Our Brisbane Office are seeking an experienced Family Law Legal Practitioner for a 12-month Parental Leave cover. As one of Queensland's largest legal practices, we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About You:
* You must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court.
* Must be the holder (or be eligible for immediate application) of a current Queensland Government Blue Card prior to commencing work.
* You should demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across a wide range of Family Law, Domestic Violence, and (after training) Child Protection advocacy.
* Ideally, you will have a minimum of three years of full-time experience, resilience in handling complex cases, including Domestic Violence and Child Protection work, and the ability to develop culturally competent service skills.
