Your Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Djindigal, a 10-bed therapeutic Alcohol and Other Drug residential rehabilitation service in Mareeba, Far North Queensland. As Program Manager, you will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical staff (11–15 employees), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive and contractually compliant services across the Pre-Residential, Residential Recovery and Community Recovery phases. Working under limited direction, you will oversee service performance, compliance, risk management and reporting, while fostering strong partnerships with local stakeholders and community services. Your leadership will play a key role in empowering clients to achieve their individual recovery goals and supporting sustainable outcomes beyond the residential setting.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* Lead the delivery of a high-quality, compliant AOD residential rehabilitation service.
* Manage and support a multidisciplinary team through effective leadership and supervision.
* Ensure service performance, compliance, risk management and reporting requirements are met.
* Oversee workforce planning and program budgets.
* Build strong relationships with community partners and internal stakeholders.
* Drive client-focused outcomes and continuous service improvement.
Requirements for Success
* Relevant degree or associate diploma with substantial leadership experience.
* Proven experience leading and managing teams in community services, social work, AOD, or residential settings.
* Experience in budget and financial management.
* Track record of delivering services on time and in compliance with funding requirements.
* Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and people management skills.
* Hold a Current QLD full Driver's Licence and willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate.
