Overview
CBC Fremantle is a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition for boys in Years 7-12. Founded by the Christian Brothers in 1901, the College serves the Fremantle community and aims to develop students who strive for excellence and demonstrate Catholic leadership in building a just and peaceful society.
The College seeks to assist in the spiritual, academic, cultural, physical and emotional development of boys, while acknowledging the primary role of the family as educator. Students are encouraged to pursue excellence in all dimensions of life and to become leaders within their community through the expression of their faith.
Position Details
Café Barista / Kitchen Assistant (Full-time)
Location: CBC Fremantle – Fremantle WA
Role purpose: Supports daily operations of the College food service across the main cafeteria and the mobile Eddy's Eats van. Responsibilities include preparing quality beverages and food items, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency, and delivering friendly, professional service to students, staff and visitors. The role contributes to a welcoming, safe, and well-run food service aligned with student wellbeing, hygiene standards and customer service.
* Full-time: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, usually 7.30am to 2.30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
* Work terms: during school terms, 40 working weeks per year.
* Salary: in accordance with the School Employees Salary Schedule (Domestic Employee – Level 2).
* Commencement: as soon as possible.
* Parking: Free onsite parking provided.
