Software Developer (Java)

They are establishing a brand new development team in Australia and looking for passionate Cloud Software Developers skilled in Java to help them build the future of cloud-based IT solutions.
About the Company
Our client is a leading global technology innovator with a track record of shipping over 100 million networking and IT devices worldwide. Driven by a vision to rethink IT, they empower users and businesses through cutting-edge software and hardware platforms.
As they expand their footprint in Australia, you’ll have the opportunity to shape a new team from the ground up and collaborate with talented colleagues across multiple continents.
What You’ll Do
* Design and develop secure, scalable cloud services primarily using Java
* Integrate your solutions within larger software ecosystems
* Collaborate closely with cloud architects, backend, and frontend developers
* Contribute positively with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work in an Agile environment
* Work independently and proactively to learn and apply new technologies
We're looking for a mix of the following:
* Strong Java development skills (3+ years)
* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless technologies preferred
* Familiarity with Linux and Docker environments
* Basic knowledge of WebRTC, WebSocket, and MQTT protocols
* Comfortable with relational and NoSQL databases
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to learning and teamwork
