We're looking for a friendly and organised People and Culture Officer to support our HR team and help create a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace. This role covers a wide range of HR activities—from recruitment and wellbeing to safety, training, and employee engagement.
You'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, making sure our processes are efficient, our records are accurate, and our people feel supported.
This is a full time position of 38 hours per week, is based in Albury and may require occasional travel to other areas of the Personnel Groups footprint on an adhoc bases. A drivers licence is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* HR Admin & Systems -Keep employee records up to date and help with onboarding, offboarding, and HR system updates.
* Recruitment Support -Assist with job ads, interviews, and candidate communications to help make hiring smooth and professional.
* Wellbeing & Engagement -Support wellbeing programs, staff surveys, and activities that help build a positive team culture.
* WHS & Compliance -Help with safety reporting, audits, and keeping compliance records organised and current.
* Learning & Development -Organise training sessions and keep track of who's attended and what's been learned.
* Team & Culture -Work closely with the People and Culture team to support a friendly, inclusive, and values-driven workplace.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Certificate or Diploma in HR, Business Admin, or a related field. ( desired but not essential)
* Training in WHS, recruitment, or HR systems is a bonus.
* Previous experience in HR support or admin.
* Comfortable using HR systems and managing documents.
* Able to work in a busy, service-focused environment.
