Description Inspection and Testing Technician – Multiple Vacancies We are seeking a Fire Inspection and Testing Technician to join our Fire Protection Services Team in Adelaide. We are looking to expand our team to service some of Adelaide's premier establishments such as the Department of Defence facilities, Adelaide Airport and SA Housing Trust. * Identify, inspection and test fire protection equipment such as fire detection systems, portables, passive and exit and emergency lighting systems, non-pumped hose-reels and hydrants.
* Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Equans procedures and processes and relevant Australian Standards.
* Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on fire protection systems and equipment using logbooks and associated documents in an accurate manner.
* Maximise efficiencies via route planning, time management, stock management and service delivery.
* Report work progress and performance by completing productivity key performance indicator (KPI) reports.
* Participate in the on-call roster as required.
What you need
* A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment would be highly regarded.
* Strong dexterity and aptitude for problem solving.
* High standard of written and oral communication skills.
* Able to keep up to date with product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information.

Qualification and Licensing Requirements
1. Driver's License.
2. Certificate II or III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (or enrolled).
3. White Card/Construction Induction Card.
4. Defence Clearance or ability to obtain Defence Clearance (Mandatory).
5. Must be an Australian Citizen to obtain Defence Clearance.
6. MSIC (Maritime Security Identification) Card (Desirable) or ability to obtain.
7. ASIC (Aviation Security Identification) Card (Desirable) or ability to obtain.
