Accounts Payable Officer Position
This is a Full Time, Permanent role that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking accounts payable assessment and processing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake accounts payable assessment and processing for delivery of accurate payment of creditor accounts within company policies, procedures, and delegations
* Act as a first point of contact for creditor queries, maintaining a high standard of customer service
* Maintain accurate records and maintain confidentiality of account details compliant with record management, data security, and privacy legislation
* Ensure general ledger coding and other data for all invoices to be entered into Oracle Financials is accurate and if there are any discrepancies, resolve and amend where applicable
Requirements:
* Experience working in an accounts payable department and competent at intermediate level in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
* Proven proficient accounts payable skills with an ability to meet performance output targets
* High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality control
* Professional and mature with sound judgment to ensure matters of a confidential or sensitive nature are handled appropriately and diplomatically
* Diligent with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Established problem-solving skills to enable the identification of issues and the judgment to determine appropriate courses of action
