The Role of a Senior Lecturer - Psychology Clinic Supervisor
This is a key academic role with the School of Psychology, University of Adelaide, working as a supervisor for Master of Psychology students on placement. The successful applicant will provide clinical oversight, assessment and support, including running individual and group-supervision sessions.
Key responsibilities include supervising students undertaking a placement as part of the Master of Psychology programs at the University of Adelaide, providing clinical skills and knowledge to help them develop their skills as psychologists.
* As a 0.5 role, the days and hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant, alongside staff from Ronald McDonald House and the School of Psychology.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and their families, preferably with those living with serious illness or injury, and a demonstrated ability in working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* The successful applicant will also work with the team on training and development for staff and contribute to placements as a supervisor at Ronald McDonald House in North Adelaide.
