* Week 1: Onsite in Arrarat, Victoria
* Subsequent: Remote with occasional travel to client sites (Melbourne/Regional Victoria)

About the Organisation:
We are a leading manufacturing organisation in Australia, operating in a just-in-time (JIT) environment. The organisation is nearing the final delivery phase of a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and is seeking an experienced Functional Consultant to support the transition to go-live.
Engagement Overview:
This role will focus on finalising unit testing, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), delivering Key User Training (KUT), preparing documentation, and ensuring cutover readiness. The contractor will work collaboratively with business stakeholders and key users to accelerate delivery and ensure a smooth transition to the live system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and progress outstanding issues, enquiries, and delivery tasks
* Complete unit testing for all in-scope functionality, validating recent changes and resolving defects
* Finalise training materials, SOPs, quick reference guides, and user manuals
* Lead Key User Training sessions and facilitate UAT planning and execution
* Collaborate with key users to refine and complete UAT test plans
* Support UAT execution, including defect management, re-testing, and reporting progress and risks
* Prepare for cutover readiness by validating checklists, sequencing, dependencies, and system readiness
* Provide regular status updates to the Technology Manager and contribute to steering committee discussions
Skills and Experience:
* 4–5+ years' experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations in manufacturing or JIT environments
* Proven experience as a Business Central Functional Consultant
* Strong business analysis, solution design, UAT leadership, and stakeholder facilitation skills
* Experience developing training materials, SOPs, and supporting change and configuration management
* Mandatory: Microsoft MB-800 (Business Central Functional Consultant) certification
* Excellent communication and documentation skills

Commercials:
* 6-month contract
* Competitive day rate (exclusive of GST)

Requirements:
* Proof of Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
* Willingness to execute NDA and IP assignment
* Availability to work onsite during key workshops, training, and initial engagement week
