We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to staff on procurement procedures in line with legislation, policies, and guidelines.
This is a key opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in contract management, working closely with stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.
 * Deliver specialized advice to key stakeholders, ensuring compliance and effective risk mitigation.
 * Contribute to the development of contract management intelligence.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Coordinator Procurement & Contracts within the Procurement Team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
 * Understanding and knowledge of public sector/local government procurement policy and practices.
 * Experience in a procurement and contract management environment.
 * Capability to provide training and present to groups of staff.
 * Analytical and investigative skills to promote the principles of risk management as applied to contract management.
 * Manage the expectations of stakeholders who need specialist procurement advice within specific timeframes.
