We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Financial Analyst
to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with numbers, building insights, and helping teams understand financial performance in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
* Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses
* Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
* Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities
* Maintain and improve financial models for planning and scenario analysis
* Work closely with business, product, and operations teams on financial insights
* Support cost analysis, ROI assessments, and investment evaluations
* Document financial processes, assumptions, and methodologies
Requirements
Junior–Mid Level (0–4+ years)
* Experience in finance, accounting, economics, business analytics, or related roles (internships included)
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and basic financial modeling
* Familiarity with budgeting, reporting, or financial tools
* Understanding of core accounting concepts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
General Requirements
* Strong attention to detail and structured working style
* Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly
* Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
* Fluent in English
* Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time
