The incredible opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Embedded Software Lead to serve as a technical anchor and mentor for our software engineering team. Based in Adelaide, you'll play a key role in developing cutting-edge embedded solutions that power our global platform and bridge the gap between brilliant engineering and global success.
Stuff we'll trust you to do
* Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of mission-critical software for ARM-based IoT modules and silicon.
* Protocol Optimization: Architect and implement IoT communication protocols with a focus on extreme reliability and low power consumption.
* Security & Hardening: Implement security specifications, encryption, and OS hardening to protect IoT data from device to orbit.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cloud, network, and hardware engineers to define requirements, conduct peer reviews, and ensure project delivery.
* Validation: Oversee verification and validation tests to ensure the reliability and security of our global IoT systems.
What we'll like about you
* Technical Foundation: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven Expertise: Deep experience with embedded Linux, shell scripting, and microcontroller-based embedded systems.
