About the Bureau and NSSP
The Bureau is Australia's weather, climate, water, oceans and space weather agency. Our work touches the lives of all Australians every day. Our products and services include observations, forecasts, warnings, analysis and advice. They cover Australia's atmosphere, water, oceans and space environments.

NSSP is essential to the Bureau's delivery of contractual obligations to Defence and to support Australia's broader national security responsibilities.
NSSP maintains a comprehensive understanding of the data and products used by national security and Defence agencies, as well as the methods and technical systems through which these stakeholders receive and use Bureau products and services.
