About the Company & Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a large, private equity-backed infrastructure business in a newly created role. This position has been established due to growth and will play a critical role in supporting complex projects and strengthening financial oversight across the organisation. This is a highly visible role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders, offering genuine business partnering and the opportunity to influence decision‐making in a fast‐paced, project‐driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end project accounting, including WIP, cost tracking, forecasting and margin analysis
* Financial oversight and reporting across joint ventures
* Business partnering with operational and project delivery teams to provide commercial insights
* Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Supporting month-end close, financial reporting and compliance
* Continuous improvement of processes, controls and reporting frameworks
Skills and Experience
* CA / CPA qualified
* 8-10+ years' experience in accounting, within multinational or ASX environments
* Strong project accounting experience
* Advanced SAP experience (essential)
* Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence outcomes
* Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
