The Opportunity
Due to ongoing company growth, we're excited to offer an opportunity for a Plant Operator / Yard Attendant to join our dynamic team in Dubbo.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the unloading and processing of recyclables and materials in our cardboard sheds. Key duties include, but are not limited to, conducting pre-operational inspections, crushing and stockpiling recyclables, and carrying out general maintenance on vehicles and machinery as needed
Essential Skills
* Valid licences and demonstrated experience operating a loader, telehandler, bobcat, and forklift
* Ability to conduct pre-operational checks, servicing, and workplace inspections
* Experience in crushing and stockpiling recyclables, and loading materials into semi-trailers to specified weights
* Skilled in operating machinery to load and unload a cardboard bale press
* Competence in performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and safety checks on vehicles and machinery
* Strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including sheds and surrounding areas
* Ability to identify and assess hazards in the workplace
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
