**About the role**
Due to recent growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior/Intermediate level Legal Secretary to join our friendly and supportive Planning & Environment (Public Law) team in Sydney.
Working closely with our senior secretaries you will provide a high level of secretarial and ad hoc administrative support to Partners and the wider team.
The role offers plenty of variety including:
- Assisting with project managing files including drafting cost agreements, monitoring fee estimates and client reporting
- Creating, drafting, editing and formatting a range of legal correspondence and documents
- Management of court and fee earner calendars
- Coordination of meetings and internal/external functions
- Opening and closing of matters including e-filing and physical archiving via Aderant Expert (billing) and iManage (document management) systems
- Updating InterAction (CRM database)
- Assisting the secretaries with end of month billing including timesheets, amending bill narratives and finalising bills
- Reconciling expenses for authors on a monthly basis and
- General ad hoc administrative duties.

**About you**
To be considered, you will have the following:
- At least 3 years' experience in an administrative/secretarial role
- An understanding of litigious procedures and legal terminology
- A high level of professionalism, a can-do approach and initiative
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent technical ability using Microsoft Office suite and legal software programs and
- The ability to produce accurate, high quality work within set timeframes and a strong attention to detail.
