: Senior Performance Manager & Technology Lead
We're looking for a commercially-minded Content Producer, Creator and PM to own the content engine and strategy for a major technology client in the home energy and ESS category.
This isn't about churning out content for volume's sake. It's about building a strategic content system that drives real performance for a revolutionary brand. This role supports high-growth KPIs and directly contributes to leads and sales. No fluff. No vanity metrics.
You'll be embedded in a single high-priority account, working closely with our performance marketers at DRAKE and our wider creative team to develop content that earns attention, builds trust, and converts across the full funnel. If you know how to translate complex technical products into compelling narratives, can move between strategy and hands-on execution without missing a beat, and want to build something that compounds over time, this role will suit you.
Content Planning, Ideation and Creation
You'll develop and execute content across organic and the entire marketing funnel, from awareness through to conversion.
* Create content ideas, narratives, and messaging frameworks grounded in audience psychology, customer insights, and performance data
* Support ideation and concept development across formats (scripts, storyboards, briefs)
* Produce execution-ready content for both paid and organic channels
* Build content for testing, iteration, and creative refresh with sufficient variation to drive ongoing performance improvement
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of how content supports different funnel stages, from trust-building and education through to demand generation and lead conversion
Production Ownership and Creator Management
Manage a pipeline of editors, designers, and social content creators while staying hands-on when needed.
* Ensure briefs are clear, direction is sharp, and output meets brand and performance standards
* Jump into design, editing, scripting, and refinement to maintain quality and pace
* Manage relationships with KOLs and KOCs and the way they create content
* Coordinate content development and ensure alignment across paid and organic activity
Performance Alignment and Optimisation
Content in this role is guided by results, not opinion.
* Work closely with the performance team to understand what content is driving performance at each stage of the funnel. You must understand media buying and performance.
* Iterate on high-performing narratives and refine underperforming assets
* Design and execute content testing plans
* Analyse learnings and translate results into repeatable frameworks that improve efficiency and scalability over time
Creative Systems Thinking
Build content capability that compounds.
* Establish workflows, standards, and systems that support consistent delivery without slowing execution
* Collaborate with account managers and the broader team on campaign development, launches, and long-term brand building
* Provide clarity, structure, and direction across all content initiatives
Tools & Technical Capability
Strong, hands-on familiarity with modern content creation and editing tools is essential.
* Experience across Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, Final Cut Pro, Figma, and similar platforms
* Emphasis on adaptability, speed, and quality across formats rather than reliance on a single tool
* Portfolio required to demonstrate hands-on involvement across content strategy, creative execution, and editing (YOU MUST MAKE STUFF) with examples showing how content was shaped for performance and full-funnel impact. We will ask you for examples of this.
* Can you pick up a camera yourself? Even better.
About You
* 4-5+ years' experience across content planning, content creation, social content scheduling, or creative roles in agencies (tech, energy focus is a bonus)
* Strong capability across full-funnel content development and execution
* Proven ability to produce high-quality scripts, briefs, and execution-ready content
* Excellent attention to detail
* Hands-on experience managing DOPs, editors, creators, and UGC contributors
* Previous experience with KOL and KOC outreach and collaboration is desirable but not essential
* Comfortable balancing content plans and distribution with practical delivery
* Strong understanding of social algorithms and content psychology
* Self-starter, able to manage your own workload as well as other team members' outputs
* Bonus:
Do you speak Mandarin? This would be perfect.
Employment Structure
This role will start on a part-time contract basis, with potential for full-time engagement based on performance, business needs, and a demonstrated ability to own the content narrative for this client at scale. Scope and responsibility may expand over time - including with other clients in our portfolio - in line with delivery standards and results. If you care about building content that holds up, converts over time, and makes performance marketing work harder, this role will suit you.
Apply via LinkedIn with a cover letter, a short note outlining your experience in content production and execution, with a link to your portfolio. An application without a portfolio link will not be considered.
