About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Services Lead to oversee the technical delivery and pre-sales team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership capabilities, a deep technical background, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead, mentor and manage the technical services team, including solution architects, project engineers, and pre-sales engineers.
•Solution architecture and technical lead responsibilities for projects.
•Ensure the technical quality of project deliverables.
•Prepare technical documentation for projects.
•Carry out evaluation and participate in selection of vendors of appropriate technologies to be used across the company for the provision of solutions to meet customer and business requirements.
•Work closely with clients technical and business stakeholders.
•Accountability for creating and reviewing proposals for client projects.
•Accountability for the formulation of detailed Bill of Materials for projects.
•Manage vendors from a technical perspective during projects.
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in a solution architect or similar roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
•Strong knowledge of IT systems, networking, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity.
•Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
•ITIL certification or similar is a plus.
•Ability to delegate tasks and responsibility.
•Excellent soft skills – listening, coaching, mentoring, facilitation.
•Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and contexts.
•Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
