Laundy Hotels are seeking Chefs to join the team at The Orana Hotel located in Blacksmiths in the Lake Macquarie region NSW. If you are a self-starter with a passion for the hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head Chef as a Chef of The Orana Hotel, you are responsible for but not limited to:
Preparing and producing dishes on the line with our highly efficient and harmonious kitchen team
Maintaining high level kitchen standards and quality
Supporting junior chefs in their training and development
Assisting in achieving consistent GP and wage results
Overseeing the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes
Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
Assist in the efficient Kitchen operations
Who Are You
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
Demonstrated experience as a Chef or cook
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
Strong commitment to delivering excellence
A natural team player that seeks for continuous improvement
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and solid communication skills
Ability to travel independently & reliably
