Position: Warehouse Superintendent.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Superintendent to join us working in our Mackay Workshop in Queensland.
About the role:
Ensure effective resource allocation (such as people, equipment, and resources) to achieve targets and schedules.
Define performance expectations for warehouse personnel and monitor performance.
Communicate objectives (ongoing and improvement), measures, and targets for people, monitor performance against expectations, and take action through training, coaching and other development activities.
Track performance and ensure operational issues are managed and communicated in a timely manner.
Demonstrate and provide effective leadership for the team to enable the successful implementation of safe systems of work.
Maintain focus on operational performance and safety.
Ensure compliance with the Project QA requirements.
To be successful you will have:
Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Current QLD Forklift Licence.
Minimum 3-5 Years experience in a Warehouse Superintendent role (supervisory roles will be consider).
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and data analysis for inventory reporting.
Willingness to complete a Pre-Employment Medical and Functional Health Assessment.
Demonstrate positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour.
Strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations, risk management, and transport chain of responsibility.
Computer skills (Microsoft office suite).
Computerised catalogue and inventory control experience.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Work Planning and scheduling skills Be willing to complete along with a Pre-Employment Medical.
Desirable
Certificate III or IV in Warehousing Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
A Diploma of Logistics or Business.
