Excellent REM 5 Weeks Annual Leave PD Allowance Permanent Full Time Role, 9-day Fortnight – Chermside, Qld About the Role: An exciting opportunity exists for Radiation Therapists of all levels to join our newly established cancer treatment centre at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. The role focuses on providing high-quality radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Reporting to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist, this is a full‑time position working a 9‑day fortnight. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment services to patients. Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience. Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner. Treat all patients and their carers with respect and equality maintaining dignity at all times. Senior RT (in addition to above): Support the Charge RT and/or RT Manager in the day-to-day management of a planning or treatment unit Effectively prioritise the workload and duties of other RTs on the unit Perform quality assurance checks on treatment plans to ensure safe delivery of care Act as a technical resource, and support the development of all staff in the unit About you: Our dynamic and innovative teams collaborate closely to maintain a team focus on providing cutting edge radiation therapy techniques. Skills & Experience: Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services. Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery (desired). Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures. Valid General Registration with AHPRA as a radiation therapist. Valid Qld Radiation License to use a radiation source Adequate professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA.
