Job Description
This role oversees a 50-vehicle (and growing) fleet operating across metropolitan Sydney daily.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimize a 50-vehicle fleet, ensuring maximum utilization across the network
* Lead a team of allocators and administrative staff, fostering performance and accountability
* Meet or exceed DIFOT KPIs daily, ensuring reliability and service excellence
* Ensure all pickups are completed daily, with precision and consistency
* Maintain fleet to optimal usage, ensuring availability, efficiency, and minimal downtime
* Achieve target costs through responsible and strategic management of fleet-related expenditure
* Oversee all HR functions for the fleet team—recruitment, retention, performance management, training, and development
* Develop, refine, and maintain systems and processes that drive KPI performance daily, weekly, and monthly
* Ensure full regulatory and safety compliance, keeping the fleet and team aligned with legal and operational standards
* Enforce presentation standards for people, plant, equipment, and vehicles
* Ensure capture of all revenue pertaining to ADSC operations
* Engage, collaborate, and communicate effectively with both company-owned and subcontractor fleets
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience managing a large fleet (30+ vehicles)
* Proven background in PUD operations within a metropolitan environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and develop teams
* Experience managing both company-owned and subcontractor fleets
* Solid understanding of regulatory and safety frameworks
* Commercial and operational acumen, with track record of meeting performance goals
* Passion for operational excellence and commitment to world-class service delivery
