Your role
We're seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate education programs and services for inmates across NSW Government-operated correctional centres. This role ensures compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards, contributing to reduced re-offending and safer communities.
What you'll do
This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing education and vocational training programs for offenders, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure programs meet departmental policies and TSNSW requirements. It involves monitoring and assessing inmate participation and progress, while maintaining clear communication with key stakeholders to support successful outcomes.
Additionally, the position requires conducting audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards, contract specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role also provides evidence-based advice and reporting to senior management, enabling informed decision-making and ensuring that business impacts are considered.
What we're looking for
* Ability to support the development and delivery of strategies that maximise outcomes in education and vocational qualifications, including traineeships, apprenticeships, and full qualification programs aligned with business needs.
* Proven experience in managing internal and external reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely updates from external partners on nominated qualifications.
Essential Requirement
* Current driver's licence and willingness to drive as part of the role
* Trade qualifications and relevant industry knowledge (highly desirable)
