Role
The Domain Architect – Fixed Voice and Interconnect is responsible for the end-to-end architecture, evolution, and technical governance of Fixed Voice platforms and services, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with business strategy and industry standards. Acting as the technical authority across legacy and next‐generation voice technologies, the role drives roadmap development, solution design, and complex transformation initiatives within the Fixed Voice and Interconnect domain.
Responsibilities
* Own and maintain end‐to‐end Fixed Voice and Interconnect architectures, covering current, transitional, and target states across domestic and international environments.
* Define and evolve the Fixed Voice technology roadmap aligned with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and network evolution.
* Drive key architectural decisions for platform modernisation, consolidation, and current product and service development.
* Provide architectural leadership for complex initiatives including network transformation, decommissioning, and resilience improvements.
* Review and approve high‐ and low‐level designs, enforcing architectural standards, principles, and best practices.
* Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Security, Commercial teams, vendors, and international carriers to deliver end‐to‐end voice outcomes.
* Ensure architectures meet availability, performance, security, and compliance obligations, and lead improvements from incident and post‐incident reviews.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Fixed Voice architecture within carrier and/or large enterprise environments;
