Embankment Dam Engineering Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Embankment Dam Engineer to join our team in a senior role. As part of our Dams business, you will be working on complex and high-impact projects across the country, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, contributing to the delivery of critical water infrastructure projects. You will have the flexibility to base yourself in one of our regional offices, working in a dynamic environment where your integrity, entrepreneurial spirit, and pioneering mindset are championed.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability in geotechnical and embankment design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and local industry partners.
* You will be responsible for inspecting and condition assessing existing dams, scoping and undertaking geotechnical investigations, and interpreting foundation conditions and characterising engineering properties of foundation and construction materials.
* Construction support services will include inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting.
* You will also prepare tenders and proposals, provide mentoring, and collaborate with other specialists to develop innovative solutions.
