Medical Office Coordinator
As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate all aspects of office operations, including scheduling appointments, managing phone and email inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
* Appointment Management: Manage and schedule appointments for patients, including booking and confirming appointments.
* Phone and Email Inquiries: Respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, either by phone or email.
* Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, including initial information and client development.
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* NDIS and Medicare: Understand and apply the processes related to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Medicare billing, including creating quotes and requesting payments accordingly.
* Stock Management: Maintain stock levels of spare parts at the Cochlear Care Centre (CCC) according to the 'Kanban' system, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support.
* Device Troubleshooting: Provide technical assistance to clients regarding device troubleshooting, either in-person, over the phone, or via email, and offer suitable solutions to keep them connected.
* Collaboration with Audiologists: Liaise with Audiologists regarding complex issues requiring their expertise, referring clients to appropriate professionals as needed.
* Training and Development: Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices, enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to clients.
