We have a complex industrial relations frameworkso keeping up with changes and applying them to our busy servicefocused environment is key. From being able to respond to multipleenquiries including those desk visits asking if you have‘just a minute’, juggling tight timelines and coachingour small team through complex investigations this role will keepyou busy. As the subject matter expert across drafting agreementsand running BOOTs, to liaising with the Fair Work Commission,Ombudsman and Unions the role is highly varied, interested andincredibly rewarding.About youYou’ll have a strong values base in your decision makingand be able to navigate complex and ambiguous variables to supportleaders achieve practical business outcomes. You’ll becollaborative, down to earth, able to work closely with others andcommitted to supporting fair, thoughtful, and compliant employeerelations practices.You’ll bring resilience, energy and the ability to be thecalm in the storm when needed. Your key experience and skillset will include:Qualifications in Industrial Relations, Human Resources orsimilar is a must haveExperience managing complex ER/IR matters, along with unionand third-party relationshipsDemonstrated ability and confidence to quickly research andanalyse information to support stakeholder decision making onthe goThe ability to build relationships fast and understand theneeds of stakeholdersDemonstrated initiative and ability to self-motivate toachieve timely outcomesAdvanced skills across HRIS applications and MicrosoftOffice suitDriver’s LicenceNational Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)About the benefitsWhen people ask what is so great about MercyCare, the answer isour people.
