POSITION: Customer Service & Warehouse All-Rounder – HMR Supplies
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our team long-term at HMR Supplies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes initiative, and is eager to learn and grow with the business.
Who We Are
HMR Supplies is a metal roofing manufacturer and supplier. We produce and stock a full range of roofing products, accessories, and custom metal fabrication—servicing builders, roofers, and construction customers across NSW.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves a mix of customer service, warehouse, and general support duties, including:
* Front counter sales and customer service
* Answering phones and taking enquiries
* Keying orders and updating job details into our system
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
* Assisting with loading and off-loading trucks (manual lifting required)
* General housekeeping and stock organisation
Daily duties will vary based on business needs, and no two days are the same.
What We're Looking For
The successful applicant will ideally be:
* Reliable, proactive, and willing to help wherever needed
* Comfortable working both in the office and factory environment
* An all-rounder who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving
* Willing to obtain a forklift licence (training provided)
* Capable of basic manual handling/lifting
* Able to eventually take responsibility for opening and closing the factory
* Good communication skills with a positive attitude
Experience in construction, metal roofing, or related industries is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.

* 7:30am – 4:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
